John Chow is giving away ONE Pass to Blog World

Blog World Expo happens September 20-21 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. I thought at I would let you all know how you too could win a pass just like I did. See I went to johnchow.com and was reading some great content when I saw the information about the Blog World Expo, and while have only been blogging for 6 months, Blog World Expo is Huge, it is where the best of the best come to get together, and well talk shop, learn about additional products and services that can benefit their blog and if you have been around anytime longer than 15 min in the blogosphere you have heard of the awesome parties!

So how did I win a ticket you ask?

I’ll let John tell you the requirements:

How To Enter

First of all, you must make sure you are free to go to Blog World. Do not enter if you can not attend. I only want the passes to go to someone who really wants it. Also, the passes are the only thing I’m giving away (well, I might take you out for dinner). You’ll need to arrange your own hotel and transportation to Las Vegas.

To enter for a chance to win a full conference pass to Blog World Expo, write a blog post on why you want to go, what you hope to get out of it and why you deserve the pass. Link to this post and send a trackback (or comment with the URL). The two best posts, as judged by me and a few other Blog World people, will received the passes.

Because Blog World only 1.5 months away, I’m setting the deadline on this contest for Sunday, August 10th. The winners will be announced on Monday, August 11th. This will give them plenty of time to arrange their flights and hotels. I’m looking forward to meeting the winners at Blog World so enter now!

So how did I win you ask?

I simply did just as John requested, I told him why I wanted to go, what I hoped to get out of it and why I deserve it, Do you what to hear my reasons?

Ok, here’s why I want to go:

First off, It is a great chance to meet in person some of the most influential bloggers alive, having the ability to be a part, even to a small degree would he a huge honor and frankly exciting to see the others whom you read so much about, Second, it’s in Las Vegas, who doesn’t want to go to Vegas? Third, there is the possible Dinner with John Chow, just 15 min with that guy will make you a better blogger.

What do I hope to learn:

I hope to simply learn what other successful bloggers are doing to continue doing what they love, blogging. Besides that I’m sure there will be tons of new products and or services that will increase the income to my blog or make it easier to be a better blogger.

Lastly, why do I deserve to go?

Long story, short, in the picture you can see my Beautiful Wife, Mandi, My son Colton our Princess of a daughter Hadleigh, and the unborn child, which at the time we thought was a boy, is in actuality our Precious Baby Olivia. The reason I started blogging is 2 weeks before our precious daughter was born, my wife was diagnosed with bone cancer, and a week after giving birth she had extensive surgery to remove it from her body. I have chosen to begin my blogging career so that I can stay home with the kids and be with my family, for as long as I have them. Plus this would be an awesome opportunity to take the kids to Vegas and let them swim this little fishy tails off, it would also be a nice vacation for Mandi.

So if by chance I don’t win the tickets, it will simply take me longer to do just that!
