My latest blog was set up to generate targeted traffic to software products that I was developing but shifted towards the MMO niche when I realized that I haven't got the time to support software that I was going to sell to consumers. I am in my 7th month now and feel like it should hold my interest for a long time to come. I agree that you have to love what you do otherwise it will be too hard to keep going unless you somehow make a lot of income from it. I think a lot of MMO blogs are started because the owners think they'll be rich and raking in a ton of dough within a month.
